Alignment helps position a design accurately on a physical object so that the printed result matches the intended placement.
Morpho Studio provides three Alignment methods:
Smart Alignment and Snapshot Alignment are recommended for most scenarios. Zero-Point Alignment is intended only as a fallback when Snapshot Alignment is unavailable or cannot be completed.

Margin controls the safe distance between the design and the edge of the printable area.
Increasing the Margin can reduce the risk of printing beyond the object edge, especially on curved or irregular objects.

Use Smart Alignment for:

Snapshot Alignment captures a top-down image of the printbed and displays it in the workspace.
The system does not automatically detect object outlines or printable areas. Position, resize, and rotate the design manually using the image as a reference.

Select Retake when:
Retake updates only the background image. It does not change the design.

HDR Capture combines images with different exposures to improve details in bright and dark areas.

Zero-Point Alignment is a manual positioning method used when visual Alignment is unavailable.
Instead of displaying a camera image, Morpho Studio shows a coordinate grid representing the printbed. The lower-left corner of the printbed is the (0,0) origin.
Use the physical printbed markings together with the coordinate system to position the design.
Zero-Point Alignment may be used when:
While Snapshot is loading, you can either wait for the image or continue using Zero-Point Alignment.

Before entering Zero-Point Alignment, configure:
Select Transparent when the object sides are transparent or when you are unsure.

The estimated height is used to prepare laser height measurement and normally cannot be changed during the current Alignment process.

Offset fine-tunes the printing height by adjusting the distance between the printhead and the printing surface.

No. HDR improves only the preview image displayed in the App. It does not affect print settings or the final printed result.
The printer performs height verification before printing. Entering a value close to the actual height can reduce measurement time.
You can edit the design before submitting the print job. After submission, the printer uses the version that was sent with the job.
