Account Cloud Sync saves design projects to the cloud storage associated with the current account. After a project is synchronized, you can access it by signing in to the same account on another device. Future changes can also be synchronized automatically.
Account Cloud Sync supports:
Saving local design projects to the cloud.
Automatically synchronizing subsequent project changes.
Accessing cloud projects from different devices.
Detecting and resolving conflicts between local and cloud versions.
Removing a project’s cloud copy.
Account Cloud Sync does not include:
Print job history.
Printer connection information.
Device settings or maintenance status.
Other local files stored on the computer.
Note: Cloud Sync in My Library manages supported account resources. It is separate from the cloud synchronization used for design projects.
Cloud Sync is available from:
The cloud upload button on a project card.
Save to Cloud in the project menu.
The cloud button at the top of the design editor.
Save to Cloud or Remove from Cloud in the project name menu.
The first time you select Save to Cloud, the system creates a cloud copy of the local project. After the initial synchronization succeeds, later saved changes are synchronized automatically.
Make sure that:
Open the project list.
Find the project you want to synchronize.
Select the cloud upload button on the project card. Alternatively, open the project menu and select Save to Cloud.
Wait for Syncing... to finish.
After Project synced to cloud appears, confirm that the project displays the cloud status icon.
Open the project you want to synchronize.
Select the cloud button at the top of the editor. Alternatively, open the project name menu and select Save to Cloud.
Wait for synchronization to finish.
Confirm that the cloud button shows the synchronized status.
After signing in, you can save a project created in offline mode to the current account.
Open the project created offline.
Select Save to Cloud.
The system copies the project to the current account and uploads it.
After Offline project copied to current account and uploaded appears, check the project name and project list.
Continue editing the new project associated with the account.
The original offline project and the account project are separate copies. To avoid version confusion, do not continue editing both copies.
The project has been saved successfully to the cloud when:
Syncing... is no longer displayed.
A synchronization success message appears.
The project displays a cloud icon with a check mark.
Save to Cloud in the project menu changes to Remove from Cloud.
If synchronization fails after the latest change, that change may still exist only on the current device.
After the project has been synchronized successfully for the first time, you do not need to select Save to Cloud again.
When online, the system automatically synchronizes the latest changes after the project is saved locally. Syncing... appears during synchronization, and the cloud version is updated when synchronization finishes.
Changes that have not been saved locally are not uploaded to the cloud.
While Syncing... is displayed:
When the network is unavailable, you can continue editing projects already stored on the current device.
While offline:
Cloud projects are associated with the account used to synchronize them. Sign in to the same account on another device to access those projects.
After the project has loaded, you can edit and save it normally. Saved changes will continue synchronizing to the cloud.
To reduce the risk of version conflicts:
Check that:
A version conflict occurs when the local and cloud versions contain different changes.
Common causes include:
When you select Keep Local Version:
When you select Keep Cloud Version:
Confirm which version contains the changes you want to keep. After a version is selected, different changes from the version you did not keep may not be recoverable.
Remove from Cloud and deleting a local project have different effects.
| Action | Project on the current device | Cloud copy | Automatic synchronization |
|---|---|---|---|
| Remove from Cloud | Retained | Removed | Stops |
| Delete local project | Removed from the current device | Retained if previously synchronized | The cloud copy remains available to the account |
Open the project menu.
Select Remove from Cloud.
Confirm the removal.
After the cloud copy is removed:
Deleting a local project removes it from the current device. If the project was synchronized successfully, its cloud copy remains available.
To remove both copies, select Remove from Cloud first, then delete the local project.
Before deleting, confirm that synchronization is complete or that you no longer need any local changes.
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Local only | The project has not been saved to the cloud or its cloud copy has been removed. | Select Save to Cloud to begin synchronization. |
| Syncing... | The project is currently being uploaded or updated. | Keep the App open and maintain the network connection. |
| Cloud icon with check mark | The latest saved project version has been synchronized successfully. | No action is required. |
| Sync failed | The latest saved changes may exist only on the current device. | Check the network and account status, then try again. |
| Version conflict | The local and cloud versions contain different changes. | Choose Keep Local Version or Keep Cloud Version after reviewing which version should be retained. |
A synchronization failure does not delete the local project. Check the network connection and account status, then synchronize again.
Make sure that:
Keep the App open and check the network connection. Do not repeatedly select the cloud button.
After the network connection is restored, reopen the project list and check the synchronization status.
On the original device, confirm that:
The latest changes have been saved.
Syncing... is no longer displayed.
No synchronization failure has appeared.
Both devices are signed in to the same account.
After synchronization finishes, reopen the project on the other device.
When an offline project is saved to an account, the original offline project and the new account project are retained as separate copies.
Confirm which version you want to continue using and edit only that copy.
Yes.
The local project remains available for editing and saving, but future changes will not be synchronized to the cloud.
